These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”, “Terms & Conditions”) govern your access to and use of launchteaser.com (the “Website”), including its launch curation, user profiles, launch submissions, Featured and Promoted Launch placements, and Studio/Agency Directory. By accessing or using LaunchTeaser, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Website. In these Terms, “LaunchTeaser”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of LaunchTeaser, and “you”, “your”, “user”, “submitter”, or “customer” refer to the person or entity using the Website or purchasing a LaunchTeaser service.

1. About LaunchTeaser

LaunchTeaser is a curation and discovery platform for product launches. The Website showcases product launch videos and related information from brands, companies, startups, founders, and other organizations. LaunchTeaser may also provide directories, profiles, promotional placements, and other related services. LaunchTeaser generally does not host the product launch videos displayed on the Website. Videos may be embedded from or linked to third-party platforms where the original content is hosted. LaunchTeaser may curate content independently or allow users and businesses to submit content for consideration.

2. Eligibility

You may use LaunchTeaser only if you are legally capable of entering into these Terms under the laws applicable to you. If you use LaunchTeaser on behalf of a company, brand, startup, studio, agency, or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to act on behalf of that organization. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of LaunchTeaser complies with all laws and regulations applicable to you.

3. User Accounts and X OAuth

Certain LaunchTeaser features require an authenticated user account. LaunchTeaser currently allows users to authenticate through X OAuth. When you sign in through X:
  • Your authentication is handled through X;
  • LaunchTeaser does not receive or store your X password;
  • Your X username may be used as your LaunchTeaser username;
  • Your LaunchTeaser profile may be publicly accessible using your username; and
  • You authorize LaunchTeaser to use information made available through the applicable X authentication permissions for account and Website functionality.
Your username may be displayed in the following format:
  • launchteaser.com/username
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your X account and for all activity carried out through your authenticated LaunchTeaser account. You must not:
  • Use another person’s X account without authorization;
  • Impersonate another person, company, brand, or organization;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account;
  • Circumvent LaunchTeaser’s authentication or security systems; or
  • Use an account for fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful purposes.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to an account where we reasonably believe these Terms or applicable law have been violated.

4. Usernames and Profiles

Your LaunchTeaser username may be derived from your X username. LaunchTeaser may display a public profile associated with your username. A profile may contain information such as:
  • Username;
  • Display name;
  • Profile image;
  • Submitted launches;
  • Company or brand information;
  • Website links;
  • Social media links; and
  • Other information voluntarily submitted for public display.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide is accurate and does not violate another person’s rights. LaunchTeaser may change, restrict, reserve, reclaim, or remove usernames where reasonably necessary, including where a username is misleading, impersonating, abusive, unlawful, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate.

5. Launch Submissions

LaunchTeaser allows users, brands, companies, startups, founders, and other authorized parties to submit product launches for consideration. A submission may include:
  • Product launch videos;
  • Product or company information;
  • Launch descriptions;
  • Images;
  • Logos;
  • Website links;
  • Social media links;
  • Product information; and
  • Other relevant materials.
Submitting content does not guarantee that LaunchTeaser will publish or feature it. All submissions are subject to review. LaunchTeaser may, at its discretion:
  • Approve a submission;
  • Reject a submission;
  • Request additional information;
  • Categorize or recategorize a submission;
  • Edit the presentation, title, description, or formatting of a submission;
  • Change the placement or visibility of a submission;
  • Temporarily restrict a submission; or
  • Remove a submission after publication.
LaunchTeaser is not required to provide a reason for every editorial rejection or removal, although we may provide an explanation where appropriate.

6. Launch Post URLs

Published launch posts may be accessible through URLs using the following format:
  • launchteaser.com/post-id
LaunchTeaser does not guarantee that a particular post URL, post, category, profile, or other Website page will remain available indefinitely. We may change URLs, restructure the Website, merge or remove content, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.

7. Ownership and Rights in Submitted Content

You retain ownership of content that you submit to LaunchTeaser unless you separately agree otherwise with us. By submitting content to LaunchTeaser, you grant LaunchTeaser a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, format, resize, crop, modify for presentation purposes, and otherwise make the submitted content available in connection with operating, promoting, and presenting LaunchTeaser. This license may include displaying submitted:
  • Videos through embeds or links;
  • Images;
  • Logos;
  • Product information;
  • Company information;
  • Descriptions; and
  • Other materials you provide.
The license is intended to allow LaunchTeaser to operate its curation and promotional services and does not transfer ownership of your underlying intellectual property to LaunchTeaser. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and authority to submit the content and grant the rights described above.

8. Third-Party Videos and Platforms

LaunchTeaser does not directly host the product launch videos displayed through the Website unless expressly stated otherwise. Videos may be embedded from third-party platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, X, or other services. The underlying content remains hosted and controlled by the applicable third-party platform or content owner. LaunchTeaser does not claim ownership of third-party videos merely because they are embedded or showcased on LaunchTeaser. Third-party platforms may have their own:
  • Terms of service;
  • Privacy policies;
  • Copyright policies;
  • Cookies and tracking technologies; and
  • Content rules.
Your interaction with third-party content is subject to the relevant third party’s terms and policies. If a third-party platform removes, restricts, or makes a video unavailable, the corresponding content on LaunchTeaser may also become unavailable.

9. Intellectual Property

The LaunchTeaser Website and its original components may contain intellectual property owned by or licensed to LaunchTeaser, including:
  • Website design;
  • Branding;
  • Logos;
  • Text;
  • Original graphics;
  • Layouts;
  • Software;
  • Database structure;
  • Compilation and curation of content; and
  • Other original Website materials.
Except where permitted by law or expressly authorized by LaunchTeaser, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit LaunchTeaser’s proprietary materials. The trademarks, logos, names, and intellectual property of third parties displayed on LaunchTeaser remain the property of their respective owners. LaunchTeaser may offer paid promotional placements for launches, brands, products, companies, startups, founders, static images, logos, and other approved promotional material. Current advertised prices are:
  • Weekly Featured/Promoted Placement: $99
  • Monthly Featured/Promoted Placement: $299
These prices are the total amounts payable by the customer. LaunchTeaser does not add separate platform, processing, or other fees on top of the advertised price. LaunchTeaser reserves the right to change its pricing, packages, placement formats, or promotional offerings in the future. Pricing changes will generally apply to new purchases and will not retroactively change the price of an already purchased placement.

11. Approval of Paid Placements

All paid promotional placements are subject to LaunchTeaser’s approval. Payment or submission of a promotional request does not automatically guarantee acceptance. LaunchTeaser may reject a promotional placement for reasons including, but not limited to:
  • Violation of these Terms;
  • Violation of the Advertising & Sponsorship Policy;
  • Illegal or misleading content;
  • Inappropriate or offensive content;
  • Copyright or trademark concerns;
  • Security or technical concerns;
  • Content that conflicts with LaunchTeaser’s services or standards; or
  • Other reasonable editorial, commercial, legal, or operational considerations.
If a paid promotional placement is rejected by LaunchTeaser before it is accepted or published, the customer will receive a refund in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

12. No Guarantee of Promotional Performance

Purchasing a Featured or Promoted placement does not guarantee:
  • A specific number of views;
  • Impressions;
  • Clicks;
  • Website visits;
  • Leads;
  • Sales;
  • Sign-ups;
  • Conversions;
  • Social media engagement; or
  • Any particular commercial outcome.
Traffic and engagement may vary based on Website activity, user behavior, placement location, content, timing, technical factors, and other circumstances. LaunchTeaser does not guarantee that a promotional placement will generate any particular result.

13. Published Promotional Placements

Once a paid promotional placement has been approved and published, the purchase is considered fulfilled for the applicable placement period. Because promotional placements involve reserved digital advertising inventory and time-based placement on the Website: Approved and published promotional placements are non-refundable. This applies even if:
  • The advertiser changes its mind;
  • The advertiser no longer wants the promotion;
  • The advertiser’s product or campaign changes;
  • The advertiser receives fewer views or clicks than expected;
  • The advertiser experiences technical or business changes; or
  • The advertiser voluntarily asks for the placement to be removed.
Additional rules may be provided in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

14. Removal of Promotional Content

LaunchTeaser may remove, suspend, or restrict a promotional placement if it:
  • Violates these Terms;
  • Violates the Advertising & Sponsorship Policy;
  • Violates applicable law;
  • Infringes third-party rights;
  • Contains misleading or deceptive information;
  • Creates a security or technical risk; or
  • Otherwise creates a reasonable legal, operational, or reputational concern for LaunchTeaser.
Where a placement is removed after publication due to a violation by the advertiser, no refund is required unless LaunchTeaser determines otherwise. LaunchTeaser may also remove or modify a placement where necessary to comply with legal requirements or third-party platform restrictions.

15. Studio and Agency Directory

LaunchTeaser may offer studios and agencies the opportunity to purchase a directory listing. The current listing fee is:
  • $49 one-time fee
The fee is a one-time payment and does not create a recurring subscription or recurring listing fee. A directory listing is provided subject to these Terms and the continued operation of the LaunchTeaser directory. The $49 fee does not constitute an unconditional guarantee that the directory, a particular listing format, or the Website will operate indefinitely. LaunchTeaser may review, approve, reject, modify, suspend, or remove directory listings. A directory listing may be removed if it:
  • Contains inaccurate or misleading information;
  • Violates these Terms;
  • Violates applicable law;
  • Infringes third-party rights;
  • Contains prohibited or inappropriate content;
  • Creates a security or operational concern; or
  • Otherwise fails to meet LaunchTeaser’s requirements.
A directory listing does not constitute an endorsement, certification, recommendation, or guarantee by LaunchTeaser.

16. Directory Information

You are responsible for ensuring that information submitted for a Studio or Agency Directory listing is accurate and up to date. You authorize LaunchTeaser to publicly display the information you submit for the purpose of operating the directory. You must have the necessary authority to submit company, studio, agency, logo, contact, and other business information. You must promptly update information that becomes materially inaccurate.

17. Payments

Payments for LaunchTeaser’s paid services are currently processed through Dodo. LaunchTeaser may change its payment processor or use additional payment service providers in the future. When making a purchase, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the transaction for the amount displayed at checkout. LaunchTeaser does not intentionally store complete payment card information. Payment processing may be subject to the payment provider’s own terms and policies.

18. Refunds and Cancellations

LaunchTeaser’s refund and cancellation rules are set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Unless otherwise stated in that policy:
  • A paid promotional placement rejected by LaunchTeaser before acceptance/publication is eligible for a refund.
  • An approved and published promotional placement is non-refundable.
  • The $49 Studio/Agency Directory listing fee is subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • Cancellation by a customer does not automatically create a right to a refund.
LaunchTeaser reserves the right to provide a refund or other remedy in circumstances where it considers such action appropriate.

19. Advertising and Sponsorship Rules

Paid promotional placements are subject to the Advertising & Sponsorship Policy. Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that promotional content:
  • Is accurate;
  • Is not misleading;
  • Does not infringe third-party rights;
  • Complies with applicable laws;
  • Does not contain prohibited material; and
  • Meets LaunchTeaser’s advertising requirements.
LaunchTeaser may require changes to promotional material before approval. Payment does not override LaunchTeaser’s content or advertising standards.

20. Prohibited Uses

You may not use LaunchTeaser to:
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • Commit fraud or facilitate fraudulent activity;
  • Impersonate another person or organization;
  • Submit content without the necessary rights or authorization;
  • Infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other intellectual property rights;
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise Website security;
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
  • Scrape or systematically collect Website information for prohibited purposes;
  • Interfere with Website operation;
  • Manipulate or abuse promotional placements;
  • Submit misleading or deceptive information;
  • Use LaunchTeaser to distribute spam;
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others;
  • Promote illegal goods or services; or
  • Circumvent any technical, security, or access restrictions implemented by LaunchTeaser.

21. Content Moderation and Removal

LaunchTeaser reserves the right to review content submitted to or displayed on the Website. We may remove, restrict, modify, or refuse content where we reasonably believe that the content:
  • Violates these Terms;
  • Violates another LaunchTeaser policy;
  • Violates applicable law;
  • Infringes third-party rights;
  • Is misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive;
  • Creates a security risk;
  • Is abusive, harmful, or inappropriate; or
  • Otherwise creates a reasonable concern for LaunchTeaser or its users.
LaunchTeaser is not obligated to continuously monitor all content. Failure to identify or remove content at a particular time does not constitute approval of that content. If you believe content displayed on LaunchTeaser infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy rights, or other legal rights, you may contact: legal@launchteaser.com Please provide sufficient information to allow us to identify the relevant content and understand the basis of your complaint. LaunchTeaser may review complaints and take appropriate action, including removing or restricting access to content. LaunchTeaser may contain links to third-party websites and services. These links are provided for convenience, discovery, or informational purposes. LaunchTeaser does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for:
  • Their content;
  • Availability;
  • Security;
  • Privacy practices;
  • Products or services;
  • Terms and conditions; or
  • Transactions conducted through them.
Your use of third-party websites is governed by the relevant third party’s terms and policies.

24. Disclaimer of Warranties

LaunchTeaser is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that:
  • The Website will always be available;
  • The Website will operate without interruption;
  • The Website will be free from errors;
  • All content will remain available;
  • Third-party embedded videos will remain accessible;
  • Information displayed on the Website will always be complete or current;
  • The Website will be free from harmful code or security vulnerabilities; or
  • Any particular result will be achieved through use of LaunchTeaser.
LaunchTeaser may experience interruptions due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party services, hosting providers, internet connectivity, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LaunchTeaser and its founders, operators, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Website. This may include loss of:
  • Profits;
  • Revenue;
  • Business opportunities;
  • Data;
  • Goodwill;
  • Expected advertising performance; or
  • Other intangible losses.
LaunchTeaser’s total liability arising from a paid service will, to the extent permitted by applicable law, not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

26. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless LaunchTeaser, its founders, operators, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:
  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your misuse of LaunchTeaser;
  • Content you submit;
  • Your infringement of another person’s rights;
  • Your violation of applicable law; or
  • Your use of paid promotional or directory services.

27. Suspension and Termination

LaunchTeaser may suspend or terminate your access to some or all Website features where we reasonably believe that:
  • You violated these Terms;
  • You violated another LaunchTeaser policy;
  • Your activity creates a security or legal risk;
  • Your account is being used fraudulently or abusively;
  • Your activity infringes another person’s rights; or
  • Suspension or termination is otherwise reasonably necessary to protect LaunchTeaser or its users.
You may stop using LaunchTeaser at any time. Termination or suspension does not necessarily affect rights or obligations that arose before termination. Certain provisions of these Terms are intended to survive termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, disputes, and other provisions that by their nature should survive.

28. Changes to LaunchTeaser

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of LaunchTeaser at any time. This may include:
  • Website features;
  • Categories;
  • Profiles;
  • Directory services;
  • Submission functionality;
  • Promotional formats;
  • Pricing;
  • Account functionality; or
  • Other Website services.
We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available indefinitely. Where reasonably appropriate, we may provide notice of significant changes.

29. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the beginning of the Terms. For material changes, we may provide additional notice through the Website or other reasonable means. Your continued use of LaunchTeaser after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using LaunchTeaser.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. By using LaunchTeaser, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.

31. Other Policies

Your use of LaunchTeaser may also be subject to:
  • Privacy Policy;
  • Code of Conduct;
  • Advertising & Sponsorship Policy; and
  • Refund & Cancellation Policy.
These policies form part of LaunchTeaser’s overall rules governing use of the Website.

32. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of LaunchTeaser shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India, subject to applicable law.

33. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where permitted by law. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

34. No Waiver

If LaunchTeaser does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision later.

35. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Code of Conduct, Advertising & Sponsorship Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and any other terms expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement between you and LaunchTeaser regarding your use of the Website, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
